Brookside Ave Project Belmont
Our client from Brookside describes his home as “california in the back, new england in the front” and that is as eloquent a characterization as any. His dated colonial was in need of work inside and out and was shaped into a modern, unique space.
THE PROJECT:
This renovation and addition transformed the home into a light-filled, highly personal retreat that balances everyday functionality with bold design choices. The project encompassed:

The exterior was finished with a stunning hardiboard cladding in the vivid “Ferry Blue” color- a bold, teal-like blue, in a board-and-batten pattern for the rear and side additions but a more conventional hardiplank lap siding for the front. Sited on acres of conservation land with a pond view, this home is a gorgeous example of what can be with a modest budget and the right team.
