Robinhood Ln Project, Winchester
Robinhood Rd was purchased by our client Savo in 2019 as a dated ranch home which he needed to expand and update to house his growing family. In conjunction with Bourque Designs, we worked with Savo to obtain a special permit to take the house down to the foundation (& two walls) and rebuild it as his family’s dream home. Despite battling failing structural members and a bad case of termites, Stella shaped Robinhood into a tasteful, contemporary luxury home without breaking the bank.
THE PROJECT:
The front door opens to a dramatic front stairs with white oak railings and black wrought iron balusters, a french door leading the way to the kitchen. Blue cabinets and an attractively veined white granite full-splash make the kitchen as attractive and functional, with unique flair added by the bulbed pendant lighting. The reframed home allowed the kitchen to open into a dramatic great room and a dramatic, wide gas insert fireplace, the heart of the home.
High ceilings and wide rooms feel even bigger with the white oak flooring and wide picture windows, and the two-level Timbertech deck gives his family a great vantage point over their grassy backyard.
